Nvidia is partnering with Taiwan’s government and Foxconn to build a powerful AI supercomputer at the National Center for High-Performance Computing (NCHC). This system will utilize over 10,000 next-generation Blackwell GPUs and is designed to support Taiwan's academic institutions, TSMC, and national AI projects such as TAIDE and Taiwan AI RAP, advancing sovereign AI capabilities and scientific research. The new supercomputer is expected to deliver more than eight times the AI performance of the previous Taiwania 2 system, enabling advancements in large language models tailored to Taiwanese culture, generative AI, climate modeling, quantum chemistry, and epidemic prevention.

In addition to the supercomputer, Nvidia announced the launch of a new “Constellation” headquarters in Taipei, echoing the company’s growing presence and collaboration with Taiwan amid evolving US-China technology policies. This facility will symbolize Nvidia’s expansion and strong ties to Taiwan’s innovation ecosystem.

On a global scale, Nvidia is supplying Saudi Arabia’s state-backed AI firm Humain with 18,000 Blackwell GPUs for a major data center project, part of a broader $600 billion investment package in the Gulf region. This initiative highlights Nvidia’s expanding footprint in AI infrastructure worldwide.

Furthering its technological edge, Nvidia introduced NVLink Fusion, a new platform technology that allows interoperability between rival AI chips and Nvidia GPUs. This innovation aims to solidify Nvidia’s dominance in next-generation AI system architecture by enabling seamless connectivity across diverse hardware.

Together, these developments demonstrate Nvidia’s strategic investment in AI research, infrastructure, and international partnerships, reinforcing its role as a leader in the rapidly evolving AI and semiconductor landscape.
