The Cardano Foundation and Serviço Federal de Processamento de Dados (SERPRO) have partnered to modernize Brazil’s public sector. This collaboration aims to accelerate blockchain adoption and digital literacy through Cardano Academy’s training programs. SERPRO, the world’s largest state-owned IT company, supports 90% of Brazil’s federal government systems. The partnership seeks to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government operations. Cardano Academy will provide SERPRO employees with blockchain training, positioning Brazil at the forefront of digital government transformation. However, Cardano's native token, ADA, experienced a drop in value following recent US developments, trading at $0.87 as of press time, reflecting a 7.52% decrease over the past day. The collaboration builds upon Brazil’s globally recognized digital governance framework, with SERPRO's deep expertise in public administration complementing Cardano’s blockchain technology. This partnership marks SERPRO's first instance of joining forces with an international organization for educational initiatives. Notably, the Cardano Foundation has previously collaborated with Brazil’s energy company. Despite ADA's recent price drop, the initiative demonstrates the ongoing evolution of blockchain technology in Brazil's public sector.
