html Mudrex Introduces U.S. Spot-Bitcoin ETFs to Indian Investors

Mudrex, an Indian cryptocurrency investment platform, is now enabling institutional and retail investors in India to access U.S. spot-bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). CEO and co-founder Edul Patel stated that this service, which was previously available only to retailers, is now being offered to institutions in India. Mudrex will initially list four spot ETFs, and the minimum investment on its platform is $5,000, with a maximum of $250,000. Despite regulatory complexities in India, the company has initiated the process of joining with 20 institutions, expecting significant volumes.

Indian cryptocurrency investment platform Mudrex plans to offer U.S. spot bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to institutional and retail investors in India. According to Patel, the platform will initially list four spot ETFs – BlackRock, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, and Vanguard. Mudrex is backed by Y-Combinator, and has established its place in India and the European Union with licenses in Lithuania and Italy. The firm is navigating the regulatory complexities in India by ensuring the processing of the actual transaction through U.S. broker partners, while facilitating the spot-bitcoin ETF service through its Indian subsidiary. The company is leveraging India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) to make these investments accessible to Indian investors, with a minimum of $5,000 and a maximum of $250,000, and has already secured interest from 20 institutions to participate in this new service.
