Layer-1 blockchain network Aptos has partnered with Jambo Technology to introduce the JamboPhone, an affordably priced smartphone designed to enhance Web3 access in emerging markets. The device will be available across Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America for $99 and is already in 40 countries. Rival network Solana offers a smartphone with a $450 price tag, and despite some teething problems and outages, Aptos has seen a 2.4% increase in APT prices, reaching $10.22, with a 15% increase over the past week.
